Twitter mobs - Alan Redman has his say in this Sunday's Times

Director Alan Redman has featured in the Sundays Times, commenting on the mob phenomena that seems to be occuring as more and more peole make use of social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook to voice their strong opinions.
Alan described how traditional crowd theory is now amplified, with the internet providing an instant way for people to show their discontent with an issue - often doing so because everyone else is and without actually having direct experience of the cause of the groups anger.
