Maria Gardner
Maria is a Consultant Occupational Psychologist who joined Criterion Partnership in 2006 after working for one of the UK' largest test publishers, where her achievements included the revising and re-launching of two well known psychometric instruments.
Driven by a desire to fuse her academic knowledge with a strong commercial awareness Maria's MSc research project, into the effects of mental toughness on stress and performance, led to her first consultancy role in 2004. Developing her expertise in the area of resilience and performance to design & deliver training interventions based on the mental toughness model. As an emerging UK expert she then became a regular speaker at local and national conferences and events, specialising in highly participative and interactive presentations.
Since joining Criterion Maria has worked on a 'wide and interesting range' of projects including, wellbeing and stress management workshops; development of bespoke online personality questionnaires and ability tests; PDP feedback skills; and training material on stock management systems and store membership clubs for a large high street retailer!
Passionate about providing interventions that offer genuine benefits to both the client organisation and the participant Maria's personal approach is to combine knowledge, humour, style and a great pair of shoes!
