Ruth Williams
Ruth is a consultant occupational psychologist with eight years of experience in the field covering a wide spectrum of activities with both public and private sector clients. These span the design and delivery of training in the application of psychometric tools through to leading assessment centres for senior central government roles.
In her role as a manager for a global financial organisation Ruth developed her own skills in people management. She has built upon this early experience through her academic training and consultancy work. This has proved to be an invaluable resource to draw on when delivering management development interventions. Clients in this area include local and central government, multi-national car manufacturers and national retail organisations.
Recently, Ruth has project managed the development of an online psychometric system that is now being used by organisations across the world.
Ruth views creativity and practical activities to be an important part of the learning process. With a background in drama and community arts she sees creative self-expression to be as applicable to the business world as it has been to her work, earlier in life, with people who have special needs.
